ZW7-40.5 Outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker

ZW7-40.5 type outdoor high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is an outdoor high-voltage switchgear with three-phase AC 50HZ and rated voltage 40.5KV and below. The circuit breaker complies with national standards such as GB1984-2014 "AC High Voltage Circuit Breaker", GB3309-1989 "Mechanical Test of High Voltage Switchgear at Normal Temperature" and GB/T11022-1999 "Common Technical Requirements for Standard of High Voltage Sky Switchgear and Control Equipment" etc., and it can be used as a means of breaking and closing load current, overload current and short circuit current.

2. Structure and working principle of circuit breaker

2.1 Overall structure of circuit breaker vacuum interrupter installed in the porcelain bottle. The operating mechanism is installed in the frame to prevent the electrical parts from moisture, the frame is installed into the temperature and humidity controller and heater. The vacuum interrupter is the main component of the circuit breaker, and the interrupter used in this product is special.

2.2 Principles of operation

2.2.1 Principle of conductive circuit The current is drawn through the upper outlet, the static end of the vacuum interrupter, the dynamic end, the flexible connection, the conductive row, the output end, and from the lower outlet.

2.2.2 Principle of action Circuit breaker control of the system is completed through the "open" and "close" operations.

A circuit breaker is operated by the actuator mechanism, the mechanism and the breaking spring drive the connecting rod, driving the main crutch arm around the axis of rotation, so that the insulated rod up and down movement, to complete the vacuum interrupter chamber moves, static contacts, the splitting and closing motion. 

3. Transportation, acceptance and storage

3.1 During transportation, the circuit breaker shall not be overturned or tilted, and shockproof measures shall be taken. When it is necessary to lift the circuit breaker, it must be hooked to the four rings on the frame and lifted horizontally, and make sure that the wire rope does not touch the insulated tie rod to avoid damage to the circuit breaker.

3.2 The user shall do the following upon receiving the circuit breaker.

a）After the package is opened, the appearance of the circuit breaker should be checked, such as whether there are cracks, whether the product surface is good, and whether the data on the nameplate is consistent with the ordering requirements.

b）Open the box and take out the packing list, check whether the packing documents are complete.

3.3 Check before installation and operation of the circuit breaker

a) Whether the appearance is intact, whether the fasteners are loose, please contact with the factory in time if you find any problem.

b) Before the first use of the transmission parts should be lubricated, manually open and close the gate 3 to 5 times, and observe whether there is any card phenomenon.

c) Test the circuit breaker according to the mechanical parameters in Table 1 to Table5.

d) The heater should be turned on to dissipate moisture before the product is operated.

3.4 Please pay attention to some things as following when storing the circuit breakers:

a) It is necessary to use some industry Vaseline on the conductive surface when the circuit breaker is not used long time.

b)The circuit breaker should be placed vertically, and ensure that the parallelism between the ground and the horizontal plane is not more than 2mm.

4. Installation and adjustment

4.1 Installation

This series of circuit breakers must be installed in such a way that the safety distance from the lower outlet end to the ground is ≥ 2.9 meters. Except for special requirements. Installation is divided into direct installation (i.e. the circuit breaker body is directly connected and fixed with the cement foundation), indirect installation (the circuit breaker body is connected and fixed with the transition bracket, and the transition bracket is connected and fixed with the cement foundation).

The location of pre-embedded bolts during civil construction must be determined according to the actual situation of the project, and the installation dimensions are different in different cases.

4.2 Adgustment

Check the mechanical characteristics of the circuit breaker according to the above table. Before the product is shipped, the parameters have been adjusted, and the parameter adjustment should be carried out by professionally trained personnel.

Adjustment of opening distance is as follows:

Ⅰ Adjustment by increasing or decreasing the oil cushion.

Ⅱ Adjust by adjusting the length of three-phase insulating rod.

5. Product maintenance and inspection

5.1The maintenance of this product is simple, every 2000 operations to check the various parts of the bolt has no loosening phenomenon, found loose, should be tightened in time.

5.2 Regularly check the auxiliary contacts, if burned seriously, should be repaired or replaced in time.

5.3 Normal operation of all friction parts of the circuit breaker should be regularly injected into the high and low temperature grease 7501 or 7014.

5.4 Vacuum interrupter in use to reach the technical parameters specified in the table of short-circuit breaking current and mechanical life after the number of times, that is, need to be replaced.
